Northeast Ag Expo Summer Field Day

The 2023 Northeast Ag Expo will be held in Gates County on July 27th.

Quality Equipment is looking forward to being a part of this year's Northeast Ag Expo! We hope to see you there. This event is put on by a 6-county NC Cooperative Extension group in northeastern North Carolina, including Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans Counties.

The Northeast Ag Expo Team typically hosts 2 field days each year, the Small Grain Field Day in late February/early March, and their hallmark annual event, the Northeast Ag Expo Field Day held each summer on the last Thursday in July. The field day location rotates between the 6 counties, and the commodity/commodities highlighted each year are those important to the host county.

The focus of the Summer Field Day in Gates County this year will include:

Cotton Variety Trial
Potential for Sesame production and nematode research
Irrigation
Fumigant vs. No-fumigant in peanuts and nematode research
